Not sure where you think Luke Schenn is getting that kind of value from. Kerfoot alone, as .5 ppg player at even strength, would tip the scales alone when it comes to Schenn.

I've been thinking about this more, but I think VAN fans need to cool it on the Marino trades until we know the fate of Letang. If the Pens lose Letang there's zero chance Marino gets moved.

That aside, I'm very torn on this deal. I know I've been fine with some of these Miller deals, but for a team like the Pens it's hard to give up so much for a rental. The Pens will have zero chance to re-sign Miller as I'm sure he'll be getting top dollar. I do love the fact the Pens get a solid young forward in Hoglander. Getting Miller for under $3M lets the Pens really fill out the lineup.

Torn. I'm torn here.
