Edmonton passes, And it's not even close.

And your term on Jack Campbell is 2-3 years light.

That's from the sound of things he'll be playing elsewhere. As there are rumblings that he wants $5,000,000 x 4-5 years to remain in Toronto.

Probably for the Sabres or New Jersey.

Makes sense. Knowing Toronto they will probably spend the Jack Campbell money on another forward.

Could be, they'd be the ones to pay a 30 year old crazy money.

I’d be willing to give Campbell 4 years. I thought the Varly contract seemed like an overpay at first and I was dead wrong on that.

He's probably worth $4,500,000 x 4 years at the very most. if he wants more he can go elsewhere.

I would put him at 4 and 20 but that’s basically the same thing. End of the day he’s not the reason they lost.

Yup in the end 2 seasons worth of Tampa was just too much. They swept the best team in the NHL.

Florida getting swept gives me hope the Isles can make a few changes on the blue line and be back in contention next year.

They've the best shot with Lane Lambert now taking over the team.

Did a good job as an interim coach. Don’t know how anyone can beat Tampa Bay unless you have a Russian goalie in net lol

Sandin's on the wrong side, and Houser is not remotely close to an NHL-calibre backup. With Campbell's injury history we need a way better backup

The Jackets say "no" the quickest, because we already did it years ago. Many many times.
