imo vegas needs thompson at that cap hit for three more seasons too much to move him. don’t think the value’s unfair but it doesn’t fill enough of a need for vegas to do it

well 25 year old goalies with 20 games in the league and basically no dont have much trade value and McNabb is terrible. So value and need wise the leafs say no pretty fast. Vegas also gets out of that awful McNabb contract, and gets a better younger and cheaper guy in sandin

yes, players who are, at best, 7th defenders, shouldnt make over 800k
