Possible lineup if the Pens decide to dump some contracts to free up cap space.

Not too sure what Copp and Marchment might demand AAV wise, so this was a guess.

Marchment gets way less. The number probably starts with a 3, maybe he gets 4M but I can’t see 5M. The money you save would just go to scratched players as this is only a 21 man roster.

Otherwise this is very good and I would be very happy of the pens put this team out next year

Hey that's good with me haha - even better. I was trying to overestimate. Maybe they could even bring back Erod with those savings too.

Thanks - I would be pretty happy as well! We all know they're just going to bring back the same team though lol

In hextalls media availability he mentioned 2 things which make me think there might be some change for once: he said he thinks young players like poulin and puustinen may be ready to make the jump and he said he is open to trading a player to open up cap space (I think it would be zucker, dumoulin, or zucker)

Detroit accepts, and if you're not going to keep Kapanen and Nylander we'd like them added too.

I did see that - I mean one of them has to at some point right? When is the last time they brought up a forward from the AHL to be an actual starter - Blueger in 2018?

Zucker x2 - you must really want him outta here haha. They need to make a trade or two for space for sure. One of the LHD has to go - you can't be paying a 3rd line LHD $4+mil and POJ has to start this year anyways. I see Pettersson being the one. He carries more trade value due to age and contract, and Dumoulin is still better than him. I would love to get out from this Zucker contract, not getting my hopes up that we can actually do it though. I'll take McGinn being traded as a consolation prize. Moving any two of these players definitely gives them the space to build a good team.

I figured that was the third person - it's just your subconscious really wants to get rid of Zucker haha

You could be right. That's why I tried to overestimate his salary here. I feel like most people have him in the 3.5-4mil range - so hopefully this would account for any wow offers
