Ya know... I see a lot of Leafs fans seem to be looking for centers. But I don't understand how that is true with Matthews, Tavares, Kampf, and all the centers in the pipeline. Fans may be looking for a center for some reason, but I kinda doubt Dubas is. Maybe I'm missing something, though?

With the interest shown in Soucy at the deadline---and the value he brings SEA that made them opt not to move him---I think the Kraken would look for a better return than what you have here . . . especially with $$ retained.

It's definitely this. You look at the TB series and the goals JT looked the best (besides his traditional grind along the goal-line for the no goal), they were on rush plays were he was essentially a winger in the dzone. Playing down low in the dzone with him is not the best. And then it also affects his offence because he can't do anything on the rush.
