Too much for debrincat imo. Also idk why the devils would go after him. They should just select the goal scoring power forward that they desperately need. They don’t have skilled grit in their top six and it’s sitting in their lap with Slafkovsky. They have a sniper in the system in holtz. We’d be a weak team in the playoffs with no grit. Only player I’d move 2OA for is Tkachuk

I honestly don’t think you are getting enough to take on Monahan and lucic contracts plus RS 50 percent on Toews, he is really a true middle 6 center at this point but all 3 of those cap things I mentioned should require CGY to pay more than that
Rangers don’t do that deal prob bc Kane would likely be a rental for them
I would like to see a good young NHL player in the return of any Debrincat trade but the Blackhawks should hold on to him

Rangers best offer is Greg McKegg and a 7th round pick for Kane with 50% retention. If that's not enough, trade him to some other team.

Love Debrincat and don’t doubt Hawks could get a haul for him. But it doesn’t really fit what Devils are looking for. We need a heavier forward for net-front and corners.

Well I got some bad news for you. Keith Tkachuk retired a long time ago and has gained a lot of weight. He is not in hockey shape and not sure he’d be worth the 2nd OA pick in my opinion.

Kane trade was fine until you added elite center Reese Johnson. I’d swap a the 23 first with Holtz in the DeBrincat trade.
