Just because someone is from QC don't mean habs overpay by 10x to get him, horrible outcome for the habs

Why won't the Habs trade Allen for Mrasek...Allen is way better and cheaper too...the trade proposal is a joke

Habs goaltender situation is currently in the hands of Carey Price. If he go retired we won't have any number #1 so that mean Allen and montembeault will be the duo in net.

Like @SMH say, not because a player is french Canadian that MTL will automatically be interested. Can Comtois be a good addition yes, would I prefer win over some player like Armia, Hoffman yes again. But what is giving here in this trade won't work. Habs pay alot and didn't get any of Gibson or Nylander. Also Mzarek is a cap dump so if Toronto trade him they will need to add something to help him pass over


Also just think about it, MTL Salary cap situation could be horrific this summer and thing need to be done for that before any trade. (Ex: trade Weber contract or guys like Armia / Hoffman / Petry) or if Carey Price go retired minus 10m etc.
