Filling Some Holes Option 1

Created by: fullblowncaniac90
Team: 2022-23 Carolina Hurricanes
Initial Creation Date: May 31, 2022
Published: May 31, 2022
Salary Cap Mode: Basic
Description
Forsberg adds that long-term elite goal scoring that i feel like we need to go deeper next year, and Chychrun solidifies our d-core. I'm not entirely confident in KK as a 2nd line C, but it could be a role he grows into as the season progresses. And it's obvious that that's the canes plan for him.

I don't really see why ARI would have interest in Skjei or Bear-- and adding Crouse as well? Gotta think ARI passes on that deal.

I think Chyc will be honed in on by Canes FO but not sure a deal like this works. Probably need to move Necas and others separately for assets and then send a package of futures to Yotes. Too complicated fitting it all in one trade and won't get full value for any of the pieces that way - especially given the Yotes long term outlook and no need for players like Skjei.

Yea Skjei was mainly for cap reasons and the Yotes can flip him for futures. Or we can deal Skjei somewhere else and replace him in the trade with another prospect.
