Don't see the incentive for CHI

Wanted bear in exchange for Keith last off-season. He is still young and we get to exchange buy low candidates. IMO this would signal a Murphy trade which would make sense because we are rebuilding.

Don't mind that trade and wouldn't mind adding Murphy into it if you guys were looking to move him if we added some pieces on our side as well. Think Murphy would be a good fit in CAR.

Honestly not sure what his value is - he seems like a solid, physical top four D who can play against high end competition & kill penalties and has a reasonable cap hit. A lot would depend on what the team does w/ Skjei/TDA/Cole honestly. I gave an awful non-answer so I'm sorry about that haha - just somebody that I'd be interested in but not really sure on specific assets other than to say futures versus roster players.

Yeah, that's fair. I honestly don't know what fair value would be for him but imagine it would be higher than I'd want to give up since there's no real reason for you to move him.

His contract/timeline doesn’t fit well with the rebuild. I would prefer to trade him at max value if possible… I mean look at what Chariot got. Murphy is actually a good and useful player.

Maybe find a way to factor in Necas since the hawks need younger forwards idk how highly Carolina views Necas but I’ve seen some Carolina fans trading him for not much in return.

If they could build a package around Necas I would be into it. I think Carolina fans are somewhat stingy on this site so I cant see them agreeing on it.
