the varly for muzzin deals make the most sense to me, comparable salary to fill positional needs. don’t think they can afford to take on that much cap and i don’t see the leafs moving niemela

Please tell me you aren't serious with that Mayfield deal. Muzzin is better than Mayfield, and Topi is a high-end defensive prospect. In no world would the leafs do that

Yeah but I’m sure they’ll do it when the player you’re getting was a top 20 d man prior to this year and you’re also getting a top prospect

Mayfield is a 2nd pair guy, Muzzin when struggling is…. a 2nd pair guy! Mayfield is better than Muzzin at his worst, but Muzzin healthy absolutely wipes Mayfield. Niemela on top is just ridiculous

First off, Holl is worth around a 4th or 5th.
But in this case, we'll say Holl is worth a 7th round pick in the trade you published.
If you cancel that out, why is Toronto trading a 3rd round pick for a 7th round pick?
That's poor asset management.

Holl is garbage imo
Like just bad anyway he’s gone imo this off-season
