If it was to any other team, probably. But NJ trying to swing a move they can’t turn down seems like a possibility

I mean honestly, I don't hate the Leafs trade as a Leafs fan, but I doubt we'd move Holl and a 1st for Blackwood, let alone since it's been reported Wood is likely going unqualified.

That Canucks trade is hilariously brutal. It's like an EA trade where you package a bunch of guys U25 cuz they techincally still hold value, and move them for actually valuable and solid pieces. Stillman Zacha and McLeod don't hold much value to me. I like Severson and the first, and while he was not good this season, I hope Smith can figure it out. That is nowhere near enough for Hughes let alone Hughes with Garland and a pick

Think Hall is worth well well more than that, and Seattle trade I'm cool with but I like Zetterlund, no idea if Seattle does.

Leafs are desperate for a goalie, but not desperate enough to give up another first rounder for Blackwood. I think they would rather sign someone. Blackwood has been intermittent at best and I don't think he's worth a 1st. However he is worth acquiring, just at a lesser cost.
You're welcome to Holl though. I think his place on Leafs D-core has run it's course. We have better prospects. Might I suggest Rasmus Sandin for Blackwood and a 3rd rd pick from New Jersey?

A move the Canucks can’t turn down is a package that starts with 2 OA and one of Bratt/Mercer/Holtz. If you want Garland and 15 OA as well then you have to add more significant assets

Leafs getting nothing of value. You'd have to pay a team to take Blackwood.

VAN finally got their number 1 dman since Mattias Öhlund, I don't think they have any plans to move him anytime soon.
