Yeah I don't think Carolina takes that deal. We need a #1C and our prospect cabinet is full of young D-Men.

I gave you a 4. I think I'd like it better if you gave McQuaid to Carolina and gave Vegas Subban. I'd like to keep Vatrano too unless he does a poor job at the World Championship. Last year on another website, I basically trolled everyone saying there's no way we should buyout Seidenberg until after the world cup, we need to let him prove his dip in play was injury related. We went ahead and did it before and I think I was right about what I said because he played better than Liles this year IMO. Lets give Vatrano a chance at the WC and see if he builds some confidence. With pulling Vatrano out of the deal and adding McQuaid instead, I think you'd need to add a little bit more. Maybe like a 3rd rounder or as high as a 2nd. That's a ton to give up for Hannifin, but they aren't going to give him away for cheap.

2 first round picks and Spooner who has put up 50 points a year ago? Add in Vatrano who has 20-25 goal potential and Zboril? Not enough?

That's exactly what I thought too, that's a huge haul for Hanifin. Carolina would be fools not to take that

No it's not. You know what you have in Hanfin at already a young age. Zboril & Vatrano are unknowns. Yes Vatrano lit up the AHL, but he hasn't looked like that player in the NHL. Spooner is a decent 3rd line guy, but he's really a winger as he doesn't have the defensive awareness to play center. Then the two first are first. The 2017 draft is a weak draft class so the 2017 1st doesn't hold the same value as it had in previous years.
