Not sure why Del Zotto is included here. Seems pointless.

Usually when a pick is top 5 protected, the pick then transfers to the following draft, or some option favorable to the team acquiring it.

Apparently Chicago will listen to anything. For their best player (not named Kane), I don't have a clue if they accept this or not . . . especially without an extra crack at Bedard!!

DeBrincat is a player any GM would obviously love to have on the team, but his qualifying offer is $9M and you also need to get a deal done with Stutzle who'll certainly be looking for something between Tkachuk and DeBrincat, and Zub who we have no real replacement for at this time. This puts us in a tight spot pretty quickly, especially since you've opted NOT to buyout White (which if you're going to do it should be THIS summer) OR used a 2nd+ to move Zaitsev. I'd need to do some serious math to make sure a move like this didn't slam our contention window shut 4 years earlier than we should have.

Also, you've just lost Parker Kelly on waivers - no chance he would clear. Kelly and Kastelic are so much better than Gambrell and Gaudette. Like... SO MUCH.

Chicago says no, Pinto isn’t anything special a 40+ goal scorer needs an A+ prospect coming back and no draft protection.

big overpay, not even EK or Eichel got that kind of return and that for a reason, teams are not dumb to send all their top picks and prospect for 1 player destroying their farm...

Also cat has about 5-6 years left of NHL playing time, players of his size don't last into their 30s still being elite

rofl, that i what Sabers fans said about a eichel return, that is what Sens fans said about a EK trade (they got lucky the pick turned 3rd OA) and Hawks fans say the same thing about a Cat trade, boy are you ppl going to be disappointed with the return, as both sens fans were at the time of the trade and sabers fans were with the return for Eichel.

Also team dont trade unprotected first anymore, of all the firsts traded last season only Bostons was unprotected and they were guaranteed to make the playoffs. Hawks aint getting a unprotected first.

You’re not getting DeBrincat without a top prospect, Pinto is B at best. Davidson doesn’t need to trade DeBrincat nor does he want to unless it’s a package he can’t refuse.

Remove Pinto and I would consider

No way I'm sending a 7th OA pick, a blue chip like Pinto and a 2023 first

Change Del Zotto for Lassi Thomson or Jacob Bernard Docker

Also lol at "Pinto isn’t anything special"

Even the Habs media were marveling about him when he hit the NHL ice for the first time at 20 years old

Can't get enough of these takes, that's why these sites are so addictive, pure dopamine

Ridly Greig is ranked 18th best prospect in the world here and Sens fans almost unanimously have Sanderson and Pinto above him

You obviously have not seen Pinto play before. He is an A prospect. There is no way I would make that trade. Overpayment, however I would love to have the Cat with Stuezle.
