Not for that. Also please don't give Chairot that contract.

It’s really good value but I think the Isles keep Barzal. If that trade was accepted I wouldn’t be mad though

Matthew Tkachuk gets a far better offer than just Jakob Chychrun.

He's not signing for $8,000,000 x 4 years in Arizona when there's been rumors to the effect that he wants to go home to St Louis. Tkachuk isn't taking anything less than $9,500,000 x 8 years.

And Vincent Trocheck isn't taking anything less than $6,500,000 x 6-7 years on the open market. He might sign that to stay in Carolina but elsewhere no way.

Islanders pass, If Lou Lamoriello were to move Matthew Barzal he'd get a far better offer than that.

It would be a terrible trade for the isles. Hanifin will be a UFA in 2 years, Zary is a B prospect , and Dube is a middle 6 winger. Trading Barzal only makes sense if it’s for high picks and prospects

Hanifin is good/young and we have a massive hole at LD (LD of the future), Dube is only 23 and had a decent szn last year, Zary is a solid prospect, and the 2nd is whatever. I don’t think the isles do the trade but it’s good value, as we receive solid young players that fill needs.
