Description

Would the Rangers be susceptible to an offer sheet like this for Kaako? Obviously they wouldn't want to pay him this much and it would screw with their offseason plans. At what point is it not worth it for them to where they don't match? Honestly curious even though an NHL GM will never use an offer sheet.

If I'm the Caps GM, I'm probably not giving up future firsts or seconds with how this roster is constructed currently unless the asset is something you absolutely love. Pretty much everyone but Carlson on the defensive corps is on an expiring contract, goaltending still needs to be figured out, etc. 2023-24 has the potential to be one of the worse Caps teams in over a decade.
