Perron will be looking for more than 3.5mil.
Also 3yrs is to risky, he'll be 37 by the time his contract ends. I'd give him a 2yr deal.

But other than that, all looks good.

I think that third year is what gets his annual value down, maybe not to 3.5 tho

JP helps a ton with Defense he’s a great defensive forward

Scandella isn't the only available LD this summer, there are at least three other players ahead of him as far as Detroit is concerned.

I think he is making the defense better by removing a bad player which does make sense but it's also going to raise the cost to move Scandella.

Ok but when you consider 75% of JP's points involved McDavid or Draisaitl it's unrealistic to think he will have the same production in STL. So if you are acquiring JP just to improve team defense ok.



But with the cap only raising $1M dollars for the next couple of seasons it makes his cap hit of $3.275M for the next 2 seasons more significant. So with that cap hit and 2 seasons left it might be you kidding kidding himself by thinking he has much if any trade value.
