That was two playoff runs, not a one year rental, sorry. Should have taken it while you had the chance.

Let’s relax there delneggs. A top D prospect, a player that has yet to top 25 points in a season and flirting with bust label plus a late late first is nothing to get so butt hurt over for a 100 point guy making 2.5 that can play in all situations.

So you want him. Actual NHL player for a goalie prospect. Van adds or Oilers say nah.

Van is in no position to trade next years 1st just to swap Boeser for laine and they most certainly won’t have to pay anyone to take Pearson he probably returns a 2nd round pick if not a 3rd no problem

Depietro is on of our top goalie prospects, that would instantly become Edmonton’s. E town builds depth at the goalie position Van takes on a struggling prospect that not that long ago didn’t want to play in the NHL. I want his size. I see a win win for both

Agreed, it’s why it’s NY 1st

Cool if Pearson fetches that I’m in. I like the guy but he’s on his last couple years.

If Vancouver acquires another 1st I doubt they’d use it to slightly upgrade from Boeser to laine. They’d use it to either draft a player for the future or flip it for a rhd to pair with Hughes

I think your overvaluing what a late first would get you. It’s exactly the piece to upgrade from Bos to Laine

Relax there VanFan. First off, the Rangers aren't renting JT for a year and secondly, Schneider is not available for trade, period. You don't like that....I don't care, its reality. No GM on earth is giving up a big, mobile, 20 year old RD with Schnider's potential, and especially not for a 1 year rental of any player. Keep dreaming.

Lets holster that pistol there champ. If Schneider isn't available, completely off the trade market, that's no problem but lets not chicken little to a relatively fair ask price, there are deals that can be made to extend a player when traded so they don't turn out to be a rental. NY has a healthy RD prospect pool but could look to upgrade at the center position for next year.

I don't have time to explain grade school math to you. There is ZERO ways the Rangers could offer Miller a new contract. ZERO. So he would be a 1 year rental, plain and simple and as such, won't get near what you want in trade. Find a team that can sign him to a new deal and you will get more. Pretty simple concept.
