Zacha's been pushed out so he's a guy they'll likely trade and the reports suggest they really want a guy like Nylander (the NHL.com speculation piece suggested Pastrnak, Fiala, and Debrincat too). I could of course be wrong since this is just fun, but I bet they'd be willing to move Zacha to sweeten the pot a tiny bit to get that guy for them. The 3 million is just the QO number (I think) so someone can fact check me on that. I thought adding Duszak might help close the gap a little bit but I probably need to add more.

EDIT: this is my second attempt at this btw, last time I had the Leafs getting Wood without adding Duszak so I am inching closer haha. I also probably should have done something with Knies

That'll be a no from Chicago. Not going to give up assets in a rebuild. If you give up Mrazek and a first for a "C" level prospect then fine. See the trade for Fleury last year. Something like that.

I think that's reasonable. The reason I had the picks coming back was because it didn't sound like moving Mrazek would cost a 1st, but Leafs don't have a 2nd and I was too lazy to make a trade to get one and then flip it with Mrazek to Chicago for nothing. Something more like Mrazek and the 1st for a future 3rd and like Jake Wise or something is probably more reasonable.

I don't think that package interests the Canucks.

One year of Kerfoot isn't a fit for them at all, the late 1st isnt a prime asset, and I don't think Robertson is of any interest as they already have like 4 players at 5'9 or 5'10.

Canucks pass.

Los Angeles wouldn't trade Iafallo or Vilardi for Muzzin, let alone both. And we're in the market for a young #1 LD with term; Muzzin is none of the three.

Don't think the Devils and Leafs are good trade partners. Leafs are in win now mode and selling off Nylander for 2OA could give them a decent rookie on ELC, but won't replicate the production of Nylander in year 1 or 2 most likely, which means the cap savings from Nylander would just have to go back into filling the hole left by him. While Nylander is a great player, Devils probably aren't interested due to the contract. If they traded for him, they only get him for 2 years with no guarantee of an extension. If you're giving up the 2OA, you're gonna make sure to have that guy locked down for a long time. Just doesn't seem like good trade partners.
