Description
Pens and Habs linked everywhere for Petry if Letang goes home. Pens would add to this trade to get bigger on the wing in a Hextall/Burke-Ilk move. They also add Allen to help out with Jarry work load going into the post season. It is a heavy price and not something I’d prefer them to do, but this would be the cost of doing business for adding Anderson.

Geno takes a bit of a cut to finish his career in Pittsburgh with Sid (Sid has suggested 3 more years) and after Rust left money on the table to run it back.

Pettersson is a cap casualty.

Pittsburgh is giving up far too much. It also doesn't really help the Penguins on the ice, and certainly not on the cap side.

I would throw up and fill a 10 gallon bucket if we did that, 2 horrible contracts and mortgaging more of the future for players who do not help us on the ice whatsoever (Allen would but Anderson and petry suck, especially petry)

Anderson is always underrated he actually is a great player but is just a sleeper right now

Petry has better analytics than Letang but yeah he sucks
