thats pastrnak without extension. with extension is gunna be quite a bit more. seeing how his term would now be guaranteed long term at age 26...

I don't think that even gets Pastrnak without an extension. Pinto would be of no value to Boston and recouping their own picks is nice, but doesn't really move the needle. Really the headliner is #7OA and that's not enough for one of the premier goal scorers in the NHL.

Yeah as much as I would like to see Pasta in OTT, I don't think they can offer the best package, and then to get him signed with the coming Norris, Stuzle, and Sanderson Extensions I don't see it as a fit, or even a possibility.

Second, would 100% rather have Pinto as 3C than Monahan.

Third, with the Likes of Greig, Kelley, Kastlic, and Watson I see no reason to bring in Ritchie, use the money elsewhere, likely needed as I think Joseph and Formenton are going to cost more than what you have here.

i think ottawa could COULD get pastrnak, but its gunna cost more than pinto and pick 7. ottawa shouldnt want to bring in pastrnak though as its going to gut their future.
