Demko is the franchise goalie for Vancouver. They would be absolutely and completely stupid to trade them, but to answer your question, I think your offer is close, but they would want that 2nd round pick upgraded to a 1st I'd imagine.

I think the Demko deal is like 80% there - even with Puljujarvi coming back I can't see Vancouver doing this without getting a 2023 1st in return.

Also, absolutely zero chance the Isles give you anything for Tyson Barrie. Not saying he's a bad player but they've already got a right side that has Ryan Pulock, Noah Dobson, and Scott Mayfield And His $1.45M Cap Hit. Who are you pushing out there to put Barrie and his 2x$4.5M in?

From a division rival, the price will be much higher than market value simply due to the fact that Edmonton will be fighting for the playoffs against Vancouver. This deal is not close. Skinner is a fringe starter, Pulju is a second liner at best, Broberg is nothing special, especially due to the fact that our left side D is stacked. Deal is rather pathetic for a franchise goalie

Broberg plays both sides which is why he makes sense for Canucks. Nothing special? He looked pretty good for a rookie

All the Canucks fans in denial.

So I think they do it, no. Fun thoughts but Canucks be realistic, he would not get you much more than that, but that's why it does not happen.

VAN is not moving their franchise goaltender.

Jim Rutherford: “One of the real pluses is we have a franchise goalie (Thatcher Demko). When you’re trying to build a championship team, and you already have that piece in place, you can start chipping away at things".

Demko being traded is about as realistic as McDavid being traded. In fact, I would think that McDavid getting traded is more likely than Demko being traded. Just because you wish Demko was on the Oilers, does not make it realistic, and it certainly does not make this pathetic offer realistic
