Which of those 6 elements do you predict will be worth something in 2023-2024?

Kerfoot, Robertson, 1st and 3rd.

On the Toronto side I can say the 2nd will.

Caps aren't trading for him anyways so don't worry about it. Don't need the player, definitely don't need the cap hit.

?

Anaheim won't re-sign Kerfoot, and the third won't be in the NHL. Robertson is dubious, and the first is doubtful.

Yea man caps would definitely add to get a 33yo who was pretty bad last year, has injury issues, plays the position they probably need to upgrade the least, and makes 5.75x2 with a full NMC

They can either re sign kerfoot or trade him at TDL. Abruzzese and Robertson are nhlers. 1st and 3rd prospects along with anything that is traded for still has value even they aren't in the nhl. If nhl players is what you want keep kerfoot and you would have 3 nhlers in 23/24.

Toronto on the other hand needs Gibson to improve. Otherwise they are doomed for at least the next 4 years. Not saying that he can't but I also wouldn't say it is a guarantee.

I'm not saying that Anaheim can't take advantage of a gm or a team won't strike it big on Gibson. Just that leafs aren't in a position to be rolling the dice with those types of assets.
