Personally I think they will go will nemec with the 4 OA pick but it’s kind of like a 60/40 type thing. I’m not sure either of them will even play in North America next year tho. I just did a kraken AGM and I wasn’t sure between subban or Klingberg for a top 4 pmd but I sided with subban since he’s cheaper and requires less term then Klingberg. Another reason I would not want Klingberg is that eventually jiricek/nemec will probably be a number 1 Rd, so having Klingberg(a guy who will be making around what you said In this money wise) with his ability’s and money he’s making playing second pair would most likely cause cap problems once this team starts getting good. This post looks pretty good tho! I think the kraken are gonna be super good in the future.

*Edit:
This doesn’t matter as much but Driedger won’t be able to start next season and probably won’t start playing again til later in the season

Why? Soucy isn't that good, both Pettersson and Schmidt have better numbers this year and aren't rentals.

Cause we are giving up nothing and can get way more at deadline and I love his size and defense. Schmidt stinks, don't really want him at all. Pettersson is fine too, but this deal is great, plus we get rid of erne the slug

There is also concern among Detroit fans that whatever we do we need to have spots on LD opening up for our prospects over the next few years. I don't think 3 years is too long (Pettersson and Schmidt terms), but others object to the term left being too long.
