quick question, two parts: why is Jake Muzzin waiving for Nashville / why is Nashville trading for a 33 y/o LD with a $5.625 cap hit when they already have Roman Josi & Mattias Ekholm signed long-term?

It seems to be common of late. The guy has 15 goals as a career high and didn't show me much in the playoffs. Exact type of role player the leafs are trying not to have.
