Proper ACGMs for Columbus are so boring since it really only makes sense for them to just use their picks, sign their RFAs, play the young guys, see what they can do with more experience and move forward from there. The foundation of a very solid team is already present, they just need to develop properly and avoid making any decisions that rush the process forward.

yep. I don't think the team has ever been as set as it is right now after this summer draft

now with that being said, depending on how the team is doing in the next 3-4 years, this could be Jarmo's last chance. But that's banking on it not working, and as I said, the team has never been this deep to grow before, so too early to predict how it could go. But it's always a back mind thought. Unless they're gonna give him the Poile treatment, wouldn't mind that, but that's not fun either.

Oh, there's always little things to point at. This one, for example, seems to have let Bemstrom and Blankenburg both walk.

Agree on Blankenburg. Kid's got heart and compete. A good ingredient for the future.
Bemstrom, ah no thanks. Seen enough of him, time to move on. If it bites us, it bites us.

Bemstrom, per analytics, is one of the very few forwards we have who was actually a net positive on defense, alongside Robinson and Bjorkstrand. I'm not in a hurry to get rid of him.
