I would probably use that cap to get a solid 3c to help the young forwards in Bordeleau and Dahlen.
Also, I think Nikolai Knyzhov will pair with EK65 and someone like Meygna or Hatakka will be on the 3rd pair. Simek could be traded. No need to sign a LD.

Nope. Didn't address the lack of scoring. ER isn’t going to fill that gap, especially alongside Couture. He was benefitting from the Crosby effect. Trading Labanc is also a mistake. He scores at a top 6 rate when not stapled to the black hole of offense that is Bonino at 3C. Also, the bottom 6 is still a mess. Bonino isn’t a 3C anymore.
