What would the Hawks want back for Kane to go to his hometown team? I saw a TikTok about the possibility of Kane leaving chicago & they suggested Buffalo.

So, what would Hawks fan want for him?

We are not in a position to give assets for Kane. If he comes to Buffalo it's next summer as an UFA.

valid. I would prefer to keep Kane in Chicago, but I just saw it and I was curious from Chicago fans on their opinions

For this to happen Buffalo would have to offer multiple 1sts + Dylan Cozens or Owen Power. Kane is a top player in the league and one could argue the greatest American player of all time. I don't think this makes sense for Buffalo since they're not good enough to go on a cup run with Kane. Trade to the Rangers seems more likely.

Don't exagerate... Giroux just got traded for Tipett and a late first as a rental...Kane value is higher but not to the point that a team would let go a Elite prospect like Power AND multiple first round picks.

Patrick Kane is the greatest American player of all time (from an Islanders fan)

Kane is absolutely worth a top prospect to a competing team as widely reported and NJD is one team rumored to be considering Holtz and a 1st. That said, in regards to Buffalo...A)Doesn't make sense to buffalo because they aren't competing, and B) Kane isn't waiving for buffalo anyway

He has a really good value but asking for a way bigger return than Jack Eichel got for a 34 years old UFA with a 10M cap hit is just not reasonable. You'll definately be able to get a really good return but expecting players like Power or Cozens with multiples first will just disapoint you when he gets trade. He is definatly a top 10 player in the league but he is still a rental.

It's not an exaggeration. Giroux only got traded for that because he had a no-movement clause and wanted to go to Florida. Flyers wanted more but Florida completely drained their assets at the deadline and Philly had to choose between keeping Giroux and losing him for nothing to free agency or getting whatever they could from him at the deadline. Colorado offered way more but Giroux only wanted to go to Florida.

Sorry, I was confusing Cat. Kane is worth a good prospect and 1st, but not an elite prospect agreed. Kane won't waive for Buffalo anyway so pointless to discuss
