Why do you think Walker is a cap dump, his contract is good, he’s young, and he definitely is living up to it.

I think Matt Roy is better and they already have Doughty Durzi and Roy, I also just posted a Kings one.

But, he’d get easily picked off waivers, teams would give a 2nd or 3rd for him. He has positive value.

Teams don't just give young good players away. Walker gets a real return, hague gets more, poolparty gets more.

The Kings couldn't possibly have cap trouble until Walker comes off the LTIR list in 2023, so your entire premise is wrong.

Teams don't give away GOOD players for cap reasons; they dump their non-productive contracts.

Future fourth-round picks aren't "draft capital," they're stabs in the dark.
