Gibson isn't the answer - not for 6.4 million anyway.

You're better off to sign Campbell or Husso at 1.5/2 million dollars cheaper. Shave half a million off Kulak's salary and use it to shore up your depth.

I think gibson's numbers will return to what they have been prior to this past season when he is on a better team but I understand where you're coming from... I don't think Campbell is worth what he will get. I agree with what you said regarding Kulak but I think Ken Holland will overpay him

Uhhh no. If you wanna dump Kassian on Detroit, you're giving Detroit the 29th overall in this years draft as payment...He doesn't fit in Detroit's future and is a much bigger cap hit than he's even close to being worth. Detroit would bury him in GR or buy him out but for the 29th overall they'd make that move and help Edmonton keep their roster together.

Nugent-Hopkins insisted that his new contract include an NMC because he didn't want to leave Edmonton. I doubt he would waive it to go from Stanley Cup pretender Edmonton to playoff-spectator Ottawa. And on that note, not even the most devout Sens fans thinks that Ottawa is in a "win now" state, so they wouldn't be eager to trade the seventh overall pick in this year's draft for a player who will "help them now."

Doubt the Sens would pay the 7th OA for RNH

And is he the type of guy they want for Stutzle or Norris? (LW)

He's also already 29 years old

It's coming but serious questions need to be answered first : what about ownership

And then from new ownership, new management and coaching would come and maybe/hopefully a plan for an arena downtown

No idea when they'll make the playoffs because Dorion is a time-ticking bomb
