I doubt Necas gets that much. Hagel would be the right comparable to use and you seem to be pricing them similarly but he was locked in for 2 more seasons at 1.5 mil aav, a great deal, while Necas is due his new contract. That will be a hit on his value. Getting less than Hagel should be expected.

Necas got less points than Kerfoot last year, Leafs arent adding 2 first. I believe they would add in a Kerfoot for Necas swap but not 2 firsts and a 3rd

Don’t think Necas trade makes sense for either team.

Definite pass on bringing mcginn back. We didn’t want to pay him last summer and he got his so good for him. But he wasn’t that good last year and now is widely seen as overpaid and a cap dump. In this trade essentially you’re trading a 2nd for him which makes no sense. He also shouldn’t be playing above fourth line even tho his salary is more in line with a third line player.
