good picks. I would take grubauer and lowry instead of hutchinson and eller though.

You've picked too many high priced retreads. Vegas have/are going to sign UFAs which puts them at a much higher cap even before the draft. I can't see Plekanec, Read, Sbisca, Cobourn, Gorges being selected. Vegas might even take some AHLers which doesn't affect the cap, so they can spend money on UFASs.

Thank you, I could agree with that but I think Grubauer is much better than Hutchinson and Grubauer being a 3rd goalie is just a waste of his talent.

It all looks pretty realistic to me, except for 3 things:

1 - Don't see Cody Ceci being available. Not trying to be mean but i don't understand why they'd protect Methot over Ceci. Just my opinion though.
2 - I, myself, think the Islanders would protect Pulock, as he's possibly their top prospect.
3 - Don't see Zadorov being available, but it he is, i think VGK would take him. If Johnson and Beauchimen both are being protected because of NMCs, i agree he'd be available, but i think Vegas would take him.

Just my opinion though.

I think grubauer is better than raanta. Maybe take Michael Grabner instead?

I don't think your draft is at all realistic.

It's a good team for simply icing a team, but there's much more involved.

Not only does Vegas not yet have a current roster, they have no farm system. Every one of the 30 players they select is eligible for waivers & will be far too good to ever clear. If they hold on to all 30 leading to the declaration of opening day rosters, they'll have 23 players in their entire organization plus whatever they draft this season. They need to trade 7 players literally during the expansion draft will the sole purpose of trading them for a dozen prospects. You've drafted one 2017-2018 RFA. You should be grabbing 10 to maximize trade value. Your UFA selections are a waste as well.

If that wasn't bad enough, you selected Hutchinson. As a Jets fan, our fan base would jump for joy losing someone whose only place on this seasons roster was to meet the expansion draft criteria for exposure.

Here's my last one. https://www.capfriendly.com/forums/thread/58421

Ofcourse this isn't realistic, but as of right now, what else can you do. All the best players are protected and with the options I had, I have to disagree. This is a pretty solid team... Also I put Hutchinson because I needed 3 goaltenders, him being a 3rd goalie isn't wasting any other good goalies talents because he is pretty bad...

Now that I think about, you are probably right. I'm down for them exposing Perry instead.....
