Ouff that’s a tough one. I’m scared of moving Joseph and then him absolutely continuing his finish to the year and being the next Verhaege

I can understand. But we would have the brothers too 😉.

Value wise, fair?

I think so yeah. Honestly I would even rather trade Formenton over Joseph maybe

We'd really like Joseph because his bro is here and he can play all three forward positions

Yes and the Sens seem very high on him as they have wanted him for a while and we know how "stubborn" they can be about a player

That being said, they can afford to move Joseph, assuming they do acquire a Top-6 Winger (have to try the UFA market hard, then trade if nothing worked)

Tkachuk - Norris - Top6RW
Formenton - Stutzle - Batherson
?????? - Pinto - Brown
Kelly - Kastelic - Watson
Gambrell

Let's not forget there's going to be Greig, Crookshank, Lodin, Sokolov, Jarventie and maybe the 7th OA pick pushing for a spot.

So ideally they get a RWer to play with Chuck Norris or a LWer to play with Stu. Form would then be on the 3rd line and Brown above?

Chabot - Marino
Sanderson - Zub
Brannstrom - Hamonic
Holden - Thomson/JBD

Del Zotto and Nikita Zaitsev to the AHL!

Formenton was 22 y/o, scored 18 goals at ES/PK in his rookie season and led the NHL in SH goals

Formenton might just be the 2nd best skater behind McDavid

I like Joseph but no way I'd have them as similar value. I have been told by fans connected to the team that they value Formenton very high (top-15 pick+)

By the same DRW fan which is cool, but, you do not ever see it in DRW fan generated armchair GM proposals nor anywhere else. Ie hfboards

Let's do this.

Let's look at the last 30 DRW fan proposals and see how many have us trading for Pettersson and compare that to the last 30 Pen fan proposals and see how often Petterson to Detroit occurs

That I assume you'd agree seems fair, no?
