Kane's a great player but you won't get a return like that for 1 season of any player. The remaining term is just too big of a limiting factor in value.

I think Mercer is getting a little underrated here. Young producing centers are very valuable assets.

I would wager him at half salary would garner a major return. I absolutely hate him as a person though and don't think he's got the right culture for the team.

As most CHI fans would prefer the Cat stays. It would take that sort of trade for us to be content. I really wanted Mercer the year we took Riechel, think you took him the next pick.
