Probably need to add a prospect for the Brown trade, and just looking quickly through the prospects list, I'd say maybe Roberston, Steeves or Hirvonen, but again, I am not that savvy with leafs prospects.

the thing is with Brown to the Leafs is that it isn't going to be the trade that Ottawa wants. Mostly just because what Ottawa should be looking for with trading Brown is using him as an asset to upgrade the team but also bring in young guys who can be a part of the core for a while, not just ship him off for more futures and extend the rebuild farther. Leafs just don't really have the guys that fit that bill that would actually be available, yknow? It's why people talk about Brown+ in a trade for Fiala, for example. So with that in mind, if it's for futures, I imagine it's in a "Sens bombed out again and this is at the trade deadline" situation. But either way, I think the value you discussed with somebody else, in the range of 1st rounder, 3rd rounder, Hirvonen, is more than fair for Brown, I just don't think the "picks and prosepcts" route is Ottawa's first choice to begin with. that said, if they're going that way, that trade would definitely be enough from Ottawa's POV, in my opinion
