And Jesper Bratt wants to get paid, probably closer to 7 years @ $7,000,000 per.

Neither player are signing that cheaply.

What more than Bjorkstrand? Bratt definitely fits as an upgrade for CBJ, especially if we can deal in quantity.

Idk why they would trade Bratt since they can probably lock him for cheap unless they don't trust his production. If they can get Laine with him somehow in a one for one/2 for 2 including Zacha and getting back some young guy, and lock Laine at 9m, might be the only trade with considering with CBJ.

If you're not gonna come up with anything, don't say Devils laugh offer starts with ___. That doesn't really serve a purpose or facilitate discussion, at least play the game. It's the entire premise of this portion of the website.

I personally don't think the Devils and CBJ would be trade partners either as I don't think Bjorkstrand's cap savings would be worth Bratt's raw production but I don't pay enough attention to the Devil's to know what specifically the team is thinking.

I don't think Arizona is trading Chychrun for a package that doesn't include a 1st, unless there is a truly elite piece coming back. I also think we are looking for even younger pieces than these guys (in general), but one asset is probably going to be in this age group. Not all of them, though.
