Arizona may not be a farm team but they are and will be for the foreseeable future a dumping ground for mistakes from all over the league.

Yeah but it doesn't make sense for them to move their goalie they just signed

It does make sense if they want to avoid paying the contract out of pocket for that goalie , same with Crouse. Ari is broke, and only still in Arizona cause it's Bettmans baby. Technically Arizona is the reason the cap can't go up , NHL has been footing the bill there for far to long

He's barely getting paid anything, they still have to pay Mrazek and the next guy they get to start after his contract. With this guy they know what they are paying for the next 4 years and he's not costing a lot. Plus you also took another goalie on a dirt cheap contract from them.
