Description
Obviously the Flyers will never rebuild so here is what I think the team should do

Flyers trade TK at the draft to Ottawa. Ottawa has made the 7th overall pick available and I saw a trade similar to this from a Sens fan on here. Send get a top six forward who has shown good upside as well as a depth scorer in Lindblom. Lindblom could be swapped out for another piece if Sens fans prefer that. Philly gets a solid prospect in Jarnventie and the 7th overal pick which they use to select Matthew Savoie.

JVR dumped with a third. Seattle could use JVR in their middle six as he still scored 20 goals last year. Additionally if they retain they could easily get back an asset for him at the deadline.

Finally the big trade DeBrincat to Philly. Flyers are rumored to be going hard to get DeBrincat. Not 100% sure on the value but I think that the Blackhawks are certainly getting back some pieces with the 5th overall pick, Florida’s 2024 first, Tyson Foerster, and Morgan Frost

Finally sign Johnny Gaudreau to bring him home and add a star to this team

Konecny isn't they guy you move a top 10 pick for. Lindblom I wouldn't even want tbh.

Wayyyyy too much for Debrincat. Don't forget, if we end up sucking, he probably won't re-sign and we will get a fraction back at the TDL. If we end up being OK and competing and we hold onto him, he's gonna command 8/9mm per year, which we won't be able to afford with Sanheim, Hart and all the rest of the contracts we'll need to re-sign.

Konecny has played at a near point per game level and even having down year still put up 60 point pace after the coaching change. Also in the description I said I just included Lindblom as an add on and that he could swapped for another small piece

hes not worth a top 10 pick and hes not the type opf player OTT needs, they need a guy who can score 30+ goals, he can barely get 15

I like Konecny but in no world is that who they move the 7th overall pick for, let alone that and Jarventie. They've been talking about players like Fiala and Boeser being in play for that pick and as much as I love to root for a former 67, Konecny's not in that same category.

If that's the asking price for Konecny then I'd much rather get paid a 3rd to take on JVR.

any other "small piece" of Lindblom's value cancels out Jarventie's value at best. so you're pretty much left with 7th overall for Konecny, which isn't an absurd idea by any means, but just not enough of a needle-mover imo

He played at a close to 30 goal pace in 2020
