The Only pieces of interest are Hughes and the 2nd overall pick.
No way do you trade a for sure top 10 D man for a maybe.

And for sure, Van has no interest in Blackwood. Vancouver is flush with good goalies. No need to take an average at best Blackwood.

Even if Van wanted to create competition for the backup role this year, there's cheaper options than Blackwood. If NJ really wants to reunite the Hughes brothers via trade, starting price is 2 1sts (2nd overall this year, next year's) as well as Bratt and one of Holtz or Mercer.

Canucks say no.
1. Blackwood is a dead piece (unless we instantly flip him to a Toronto or smth like in a Miller and Blackwood to TO trade)
2. Vancouver is technically paying too much for this trade to give them nothing. Why is Woo here? Why is Mikey here?
3. It's Hughes alone for a complete monster haul.
