Filip Forsberg signs that with Nashville, On the open market he gets around $10,000,000+ per season long term.

And Sergei Bobrovsky isn't leaving zero income tax Florida for high taxed Washington D. C either.

Why would florida hold 50% that only clears them 5mil to get a starter, might as well keep bob if that's the deal.

Coming off a 42 goal 42 assist 84 point season? I bet he gets a lot more than $8m per range. He wants $9,000,000 x 8 years to remain in Nashville. So on the open market he comes in at $9,500,000 to $10,000,000 x 7 years rather easily.

Funny because Pred fans are saying that he's looking at $9m per to stay with Nashville.

Perhaps it changed, I know both Friedman and LeBrun were saying $9m to stay in Nashville and between $9.5m to $10.0m per long term on the open market.

That's good then for Nashville, unless David Poile is lowballing him.

Because a) they won't get rid of Bob without that retention, b) that contract will not age well, c) they already said they would retain $5mil, d) they are in the definition of a cap crunch

Would hope to get an asset back for taking on Bob, and absolutely would not pay a second for Zacha. Other than that looks good. The more I think about it the more Eller is a really good fit for the Avs if Kadri walks.
