I can see the Nucks looking at someone like Severson for their top 4...but Kadri and VanR? not a chance. Only way VanR works if they retain some salary and flip him to a contender at the lower rate for prospects or a pick. but more likely is the Flyers do that rather than settling for Pearson who doesnt help them longterm.

I like the Severson for Miller swap and think the value is close.

Kadri contract would be just as risky if not more as a Miller one IMO. Great player, but don't think he will age well into his late 30's.
