strome is basically gonna be free after he's not qualified, why are the leafs trading for him?
and goalies like talbot dont return 1sts.

With the Talbot trade, the Leafs are getting Vancouvers 2nd (pick 47). So they getting Talbot by moving back 22 picks

Fiala has been delt, the sole reason for potentially moving our starting goaltender is gone now. Furthermore, Guerin is on record saying he wants a Talbot/Fleury tandem again next year.

There's no reason for us to do this.

He's a Minnesota boy. He'll be looked after. I can't complain on getting a right-shot version of Jonas Brodin into the system too much. It was a need for us.
