If they get Helly (without Pionk), they should get DeBrincat+Strome (they can probably talk to him to see if he would sign) instead of signing Kane

Shouldn't the Oilers sign a good UFA goalie for 5m, and then keep those first round picks?

Buffalo has no need for a powerplay specialist. They have Dahlin anchoring PP1 and Power will likely run PP2.

There is no UFA goalie close to Connor Hellebuycks level

I sure would like to see an cap compliant Oiler lineup. Smith and Keith have no guarantees of just disappearing.
The difference between UFA goalies and Helly isn't 3 first rounders.
