TOR
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (TBL)
OTT
  1. Kerfoot, Alexander
Additional Details:
After his bonus is paid kerfoot will only be owed 750k in salary so a team strapped for cash like Ottawa makes a lot of sense. Especially after missing out on Fiala
2.
TOR
  1. Benson, Tyler [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
With Edmonton likely to move on from Barries it leaves a hole on RD
3.
TOR
  1. Sharangovich, Yegor
Additional Details:
New Jersey has a logjam on the left side and sharangovich would be a really good Ilya Mikheyev replacement

Shango can play anywhere. Yes it would be nice to have more righties, but they're no "logjam" on the left side, we need to add a top 6 winger, not trade one for futures.

Sharangovich is a natural center playing wing. And he is going nowhere. Important piece for NJD.

Kerfoot is a 50 point player Ottawa doesn’t have many of those he’s also only owed 750k in salary something you’re greedy ownership would be drooling over example the Stepan trade. And just because you don’t want kerfoor doesn’t mean Ottawa doesn’t

And let’s be honest Ottawa was never all that serious about acquiring Fiala they could have easily beat Minnesota’s offer.

Yeah, one of those players is very much not like the others... and you know that, that's why you traded for him. At least two of those players won't be back next season and Kuo is replacement level. Feel free to trade for Zacha, Johnson, Tatar and Kuo.

    +Foote, +Holtz (+Slafkovsky maybe)

It’s getting a little crowded, but can say that about most positions. A lot of young guys. Not all win pan out.

Zacha will be the one to move.

Sharangovich is the best out of all of them. Why would the trade him and not someone more expendable

The team hasn’t been sold and is still in his family I’m not sure how much of a hockey fan his daughter is but I doubt she gonna run the team all that different than her father did the sens are near the bottom in attendance and revenue so they still are very much strapped for cash

these are things that I genuinely don’t expect non-Sens fans to notice, but there have already been substantial swings since Anna and Olivia came into ownership. yes, it doesn’t solve financial troubles, but stuff like LeBreton flats will drastically increase the team’s value. it’s not the Eugene Melnyk era anymore

Devils fans honest opinion.....If you trade Sharangovich and would want another winger in return to replace him. Would a possible trade involving Mikheyev's rights work. Obviously just as a starting point for talks and fit whatever else is needed in there? Just wondering if that would be something the Devils might possibly do or would be willing to look at?

If SJ needs a concussion player we will just hit one of our own guys over the head with a steel chair. no need to send a pick

OTT wasn't willing to do $8 per on a long-term deal for Fiala which is smart because they still have Stuzlte, Norris, and Sanderson long-term extensions to do. I also believe that Fiala is getting overpaid for one great year, I really believe the last 3-4 years of that contract are going to look bad and be a problem for the kings.

Kerfoot got 50 points in one season and mostly assists, he has never broken 20 goals in a season. Sens have plenty of players who will be regular 50-point players, Batherson, Norris, Brady, Stuzle, Chabot, and probably Sanderson. They need someone that is a tue top 6 player, can sign long-term, and can be more of a goal scorer to fill out a line with Stuzle and Batherson, then Norris and Brady have proven they can still be productive with a more balanced one-way player-like a Connor Brown.

Kerfoot doesn't fit this, and Sens really don't need any more 3rd line players which is really where Kerfoot slots in.
