I like McDonagh to Detroit but not at that cost. Take out Mastrosimone and change the second to a third of you want McIsaac, maybe a fourth.

Not a chance in hell Detroit is giving up good future assets to add a 33 year old signed for 4 more years. You'd get like a mid round pick at best since Detroit would be the one doing you the bigger favor. If you want a better return find another team to take him on

McDonagh would be a good partner for Seider, but for how long?

That contract is positively scary and I wouldn't want to touch it with a barge pole unless the barge pole provider paid me to do it.

I like McDonagh but he doesn’t make sense for Detroit’s rebuild with his cap hit. At least not giving assets for him.
