MTL declines, Dubois is not worth a 1st OA pick yet alone adding a 2nd lottery pick, Dubois value is low because he wants to go to UFA in 2 years.

Not only that, Guhle is also an untouchable prospect for MTL.

MTL probably would not do this. Wright could conceivably be a #1 down the line so why bother giving up all those assets.

This one is def too rich for MTL's blood. Not to mention, with the current cap situation, they can't afford to sign Dubois without moving out salary

MTL declines. The first overall pick is too much on its own, so having another first plus an amazing prospect is way too much.

The way and reason I see Hughes Paying for Dubois would be IF he already clear cap space in trading some of the player in this list: Hoffman, Drouin, Armia, Byron, Petry, Gallagher, Dvorak.

Otherwise I don't see MTL going to take Dubois because they don't have cap space to give contract neither re-sign Caufield the next season.

And honestly I don't want MTL him to much and having a combination of center line of Suzuki Dvorak Wright Evans seen to me okay why getting Dubois ?
