I’d consider it from Nashville’s perspective if I wasn’t so convinced Robertson isn’t Grimaldi 2.0

1st trade is close in value, but I think TOR adds a bit.

2nd trade is fair

Other 2 trades are very meh. Puljujarvi can get much more than that package. I also don't think Fabbro is being shopped, and that offer doesn't move the needle for Nashville.

I'm not as high on Robertson as you. I see the second coming of Darren Haydar with him.

Fabbro did relatively well playing in the top 4 last year. His 2way game got a lot better. If Poile was to trade him it would be in a package for a top 6 player. Unless nylander is in that package there is no lesser player I would want from Toronto to justify trading a young top 4 defenseman

That's fair, Fabbro wouldn't move the needle on acquiring Nylander in my opinion, I threw this out there simply because Nashvilles direction is somewhat confusing at the moment, they are a bubble playoff team maybe ,they could be after losing Forsberg (if that happens) on their way to a rebuild, I do think they are to far away to re tool but who knows

I'll disagree on Puljujarvi, we have seen anything more than a middle six RW out of him, he's 24 so young but not young

Steeves isn't an NHLer and is 2 years younger than Puljujarvi. Kase injury history is extemely scary and not worth the risk for Edmonton, especially since he could very well not get re-signed and just sign as a FA in Edmonton. Oilers are in win-now mode, if Puljujarvi goes away, it'll be for someone who can contribute to their group right now.

I just feel like there's better packages out there from various teams.

If that’s true Poile needs to be fire for trading for mcdonagh. Against my belief Poile made that trade because he thinks we can still contend for the cup
