So from what I have been reading it will cost a first to get rid of murray. I have a proposition, would you rather the deal that is below or attach a 2023 unprotected first attached to murray instead with no return coming back from buff. Options are:

Ottawa isn’t trading 7th to dump Murray. They don’t NEED to and def won’t do that. It also makes no sense to use a 1st to get rid of him

I know this is the line right now, and I know the Team would love to get Murray back and playing well, but I see it as too little too late now with the level of play Forsberg had last year.

I also think that Gus deserves a good number of starts this season to see if he has starter potential or stays as slotted right now as a really good backup.

Same in the AHL Sogard needs to be getting as many starts as possible, I think he still is the real future starter for the Sens when their window hits.

With all that I really think that Murray does need to be bought out or moved somewhere, so what does it take and who is willing to take on his contract in your mind?
