Trades
1.
VAN
  1. Girard, Samuel
Additional Details:
With Kadri most likely gone this fills a hole (obviously not to Kadris level) and COL has a stacked D, can afford to lose Girard
2.
VAN
  1. Foegele, Warren
Additional Details:
Saw this on a EDM AGM thread - swap of two failed acquisitions
3.
VAN
  1. Marino, John
Additional Details:
On just about every VAN and PIT AGM team
4.
VAN
  1. 2022 2nd round pick (DAL)
Additional Details:
RD is a rare commodity in the league, DAL may want to make one last run with Seguin and Benn
DAL
  1. Myers, Tyler ($1,500,000 retained)
5.
VAN
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (TBL)
Additional Details:
Before people say it’s not worth it to trade him, based on other moves he doesn’t really have a significant spot, and VAN needs to refill the cupboards. Goes back to TBL who just lost McDonagh
6.
VAN
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (SEA)
Additional Details:
Saw this on a SEA AGM team
7.
VAN
  1. Zacha, Pavel [RFA Rights]
NJD
  1. 2022 3rd round pick (SEA)
  2. 2022 6th round pick (VAN)
Additional Details:
Saw this on a NJD AGM, and the contract value on another. Not sure if this is correct value but would love to hear feedback
8.
VAN
  1. 2024 3rd round pick (NYR)
Additional Details:
Could be another team but this seems roughly to be the value for Pearson

Fair I was thinking closer to 3.5-4 AAV but wasn’t sure if that’d get it done

Maybe add some money and term and make a run at nichushkin?

Tampa declines. They don't need another RD at this time. A solid 3LD is what they'll be targeting in trade/free agency.

Characterizing Foegele as a "failed acquisition" when he did exactly what he has done his whole career is like being disappointed when the defensive Dman you signed doesn't score 50 points. The only reason to move on from Foegele is to open up cap space and that trade doesn't do that. EDM declines easily.

You are absolutely nonsensical in that TB trade they now have an abundance of RD and are short on the left. TB also let him walk for 850k you have a better chance of 90 degree day in vancover in january than this trade.

I feel like the framework for the Avs deal is there, but the Canucks add IMO if only because Horvat is a pending UFA next year whereas Girard is signed for the next 5 years at an extremely team friendly deal. Like the idea though.
