I'd rather have a 1st than Fehérváry, and if Miller's being retained there's got to be more coming back.

Yeah we’re not including Fehervary.

I’m telling you with 100% certainty, Fehervary is not getting moved this off-season.

What's conflicting? Fehérváry doesn't fit the Canucks' organizational needs, Washington would rather keep him. Makes more sense for both clubs to have the Caps' 1st included.

Miller having salary retained means the Canucks would want more than Iorio, McMichael, the Caps' 1st, and Hagelin.

Fehervary would instantly be the Canucks' second best defenseman. Really doubt he or McMichael is getting moved as well (from reading one tweet down in Pell's thread that you posted). Miller is still the one big addition that I still see making sense for the Caps after this news. This package, however, is way too much and involves all of the wrong pieces on the Caps' side. Some version of an Iorio + 1st + 2nd package is much more likely.

Fehervary is really good. I wouldn't trade him for two first round picks at this point.

Okay nvm. I like Fehevery but wow he is not that good that he’s the centre piece of the deal or anything. Change him to a first then

Absolutely, but the Canucks have no need for him because of their depth at LHD.

Having Fehérváry in the deal makes no sense for either club.

Fehervary and McMichael are not moving. Fehervary is too good and a future Orlov replacement, and McMichael is a center of the future for the team.
