I like Soucy a ton. Maybe he's there at TDL, and you get him. But his cost is not Muzzin and a 1st (this of course is ignoring the NTC). He doesn't even cost a 1st. Ideally he's a guy that plays with Muzzin.

Exactly. And teams going for the Cup don't have the 5.6m cap to spend (on want to ) on Muzzin without giving cap back to the Leafs.
Just my opinion, the only choices Muzzin would want is Leafs, Tampa, Florida or Colorado. And they don't have the cap.

Well he a Toronto area boy, so I think his choice might be the Leafs. Rangers have no cap...and they have two spend it for at the centre position. No sure if the Canes or any team would want his cap and the uncertainty with his health, though he did play well in the playoffs. But I'm all for trading him if possible. But LW and LHD are probably the two "easiest" positions to man in the NHL. Just lots available.
